Episodic Producer
Producers are PMs for entertainment, which isn’t as recognized as much as you’d expect. Line, technical and post producers have to juggle tasks and clients in a similar way, but with a different product at the end. One that you will, hopefully, watch at home or in theaters. With Picture Shop, I was given the opportunity to learn under a team of veteran producers in an area of entertainment that I had the least experience. It’s a challenging role, but so awesome when you build relationships with the team and clients. So nice, I worked with them twice!

Solutions
Thankfully, people who were open to talking to me about their processes and answer questions. It was on me to ask a ton of questions and not have shame (or pride) keep me from asking for clarifications.
The pandemic was wild and flipped a lot of lives upside-down. Work for many of us changed in a big way. I think we all had to make major adjustments and for post it was no different. I worked from the office for a bit. Once it became clear that we weren’t coming back to the office anytime soon I transferred calls to my work cell and got to set myself up at home.
