SMRT Kooky Launches Website and Social Media Handles

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 1, 2021 -- SMRT Kooky LLC launches a collective that serves as a digital space for its members to promote their projects, network and experiment. SMRT Kooky was founded by Nathalie Harewood as a home for creatives who often do not get the support and attention they deserve. 

“SMRT Kooky was founded to be a place for the people I believe in. My hope is that together we’ll be able to accomplish more than we could as individuals and give ourselves room to evolve in our respective industries,” said Harewood.

The collective exists to lift up and inspire members, get their creative gears turning, and support them as they create their next best project. Think Andy Warhol's The Factory (or a TikTok Hype House), without isms you typically find in corporate spaces and way more minorities.

“We hope to show that diversity is not impossible when you open the door,” said Harewood. “That being said, we’re not asking for a seat at the table. As a consortium of diverse talent, I’m confident we’ll be leading the way because of our diversity, not in spite of it.”
